I don't really agree or disagree, but I think love is too specific. I think "passion" is a better word to use. Animals are instinctual, they do what they need to to survive, they can play and love, but at the end of the day, they just survive. Humans, on the other hand, can have ideas that excite them, ideas that can drive them to do great (and terrible) things.
