I disagree. History does play a role in this because African-Americans were struck in their faces with financial issues most heavily due to discrimination in employment (among other areas). Their financial statuses then, which definitely were on the brink of bankruptcy and poverty, must have passed on to their descendants. This brings me to another case: money plays a role in relationships.
It is certainly NOT because of their "history". They can choose to be single, have sex once and get a baby and have "baby daddy problems", or just have a issues in a relationship and choose to break up. It does NOT have to do with color since all races have dealt with these problems that has lead some to be single.
