I think it shows more courage to stand up to injustice at personal risk than to do so from safety. As such I think she is as deserving of recognition as the other activists I mentioned. Do you feel that Martin Luthor King deserves the recognition he receives?

she is absolutely a great honored person that are doing a tremendous job that she, as experienced it herself are now fighting for those girls right, I think all agree to that but I don't think her condemning is worth more because of it

You are absolutely right that lots of people in North America condemn the same things she does, but we do so from the safety of our house. We don't have to be afraid of someone shooting us while riding the bus for it. She deserves recognition for the same reason Nelson Mandela and Martin Luthor King do. Not because they were the only ones speaking out, but because the spoke out at personal risk and cost and refused to be intimidated or threatened into not speaking out.

correct me if I'm wrong, but after she got shot she still fought for woman's rights. that is what makes her special.

3 years, 7 months ago

well it is many more people fighting for that, she gets to something special because she been attacked snd are young, listen to her condemning things arround the world is stupid, because almost everyone arround in America and Europe do thst too, it nothing special when she do it

She doesn't deserve awards for having been attacked. She does for continuing to fight for girls' rights to receive an education.
