I have a bias to science over math. But aren't most Sciences applied maths? I'm more of a history person really.
math is just something we invented to help us categorize nature, science is the method we use to come to conclusions about nature. They are both tools.
So is a hammer better than the nail? No they're just different tools.
It's about even and they sometimes depend on each other but I will side with science all day long because basic math is good enough for most of the population and that is all you need for most jobs.
we need math for science, we need science for stuff, and we need stuff for simple math. personally I'm not good at math, and science makes fun stuff, so I like science better. however you must have both, math and science.
I agree but maths is in so many factors of science
While I agree that both are equally important, math rarely benefits society directly. We use it every day for things like paying for products, but without science almost all of those products would not exist.
both are equally important as without maths there won't be science
