I don't think that castration/deportation is a solution. You are talking about a solution for cheating, but just because men can't do it physically does not mean that they are not doing it in another way. That applies to women too. She may be in another country, but she can cheat there as well as in her own country.

I am curious. Why deportation for women? After all, both committed the same crime so the punishment should be similar (mutilation, sterilization).

thats not really equal is it? men lose their balls, and women get to live somewhere else?

Girl, I don't know who hurt you but I think you need to go to therapy and work out your own issues.

1) Work through your issues and remain a closed relationship.
2) Mutually agree to become an open relationship.
3) Terminate the relationship.

There should never be legal consequences for non-legal actions. There is no law that says you can't cheat on your partner. Any romantic issues should stay between the two and not be made for public or legal jury

I don't care about mind set and all the other philosophies that present NO SOLUTIONS. Most people can always talk about the PROBLEM, but hardly any SOLUTIONS. I'm a Problem SOLVER. What's your solution?

The Bible says if certain parts of your body is constantly causing you to sin... CUT IT OFF. Who are we to argue with God and Christ.... They said, again, CUT IT OFF!!! Now that's Christian.

what nation are you from? your mindset is very different from what is typical in the United States, or much of the developed world. it will help us to understand your perspective.

in a situation where there is no adequate government to enforce the laws, sometimes extreme measures are necessary to being about order... however, mob/vigilante justice with no oversight can quickly descend into the targeting of innocents with no evidence needed of their guilt. I would not recommend that as a long term solution.

and if you are in an area with a functioning government and police that use such brutal tactics. it is both inhumane and ineffective, but that was covered by the other posters.

It's also worth mentioning that severity of punishment has very little relation to how often people commit the crime. Whether you execute people for it or put them in prison, it won't prevent the behavior. People don't think that they will get caught committing a crime. If they thought they would get caught, they wouldn't do it. So mutilating or killing people as punishment, beyond being barbaric and evil, is completely ineffective.

@TRUELOVE you seem to claim to be a Christian yet this seems extreme. In the bible Jesus wouldnt let anyone lay a hand on the woman who commuted adultery yet you claim we should do this. Can you please explain how you back this

4 months, 4 weeks ago

Wow... Like, you have to see how insane that is, right? That punishment is WAY too extreme for such a crime.

Also, physical mutilation is almost never an appropriate response

Stealing to eat or cloth oneself, is understandable, especially if they're a child. Stealing for foolish reasons, then yes their hands should be cut off. I bet you'll see some great changes occur.

People who steal should have their hands cut off!!

That's your logic
