The problem with mercenary forces is that they fight for money. National armies fight to protect their homes, families and nation. They may join to get a paycheck, but in the end the combat they see has to be justified to the country, which provides a measure of control. PMCs (private military companies) fight for whoever is paying them, so there is not the same kind of control. They are also able to fight unethical wars since they are only doing it for the money and will not have to clean up the mess once the war is over. I do not support privatization of essential services because it takes the control from the people and gives it to a business that may or may not have their best interests in mind.
MERCENARY forces can be simply defined as the group of militants not DIRECTLY belonging to a country but rather being hired by the same for certain purposes for which it can't deploy it's own troops due to reasons such as the task to be accomplished being DANGEROUS or not ethical for the policies of the particular country , although if it still wants to carry out the operation .. and if a was is going on then the mercenary forces can also be hired to provide an extra amount of support to the troops that are already fighting in war zones. They provide the services to enter the areas that the military may be unauthorized to enter, and get jobs done that the military may not be able to legally accomplish. They put their lives on stake, just as the military does, and contribute an extra hand in the fight against injustice and wrongdoing. And answering the question .. I would like to convey that at manure times the mercenary forces become quite inevitable and necessary to ensure the protection of the particular nation that hires it .. considering the same situation for the militants that belong to such forces and render their services to the nations, they get paid heavily for taking up the dangerous task .. but again the power shouldn't get in the WRONG hands .. thank you ..!
