thanks, I appreciate that.
we need to understand that all of us love this country and we are all hoping to make it better. I agree with many conservative values (personal responsibility, hard work, and a hatred of debt), but I completely disagree with the solutions to those problems (mostly cutting services, removing oversight, and eliminating consumer protections).
Right wing leadership's goal seems to be to take away as much power as possible from the people. (citizens United ruling and resistance to campaign finance reform.) I do not understand how the rank and file of the right can support candidates that hold those positions, nor do I understand how those reinforce any form of conservative values.
You are the most sensible liberal I know.
"The main point I was trying to make was that people should be able to have a preference whether being gay is ok or not, and that does not givr them the right to treat them any different."
agreed. you are allowed to have whatever opinion you wish.
however violence or any harassment of others, and legislating away someone else's rights is not acceptable. not in this country at least.
*were born to do
that's like saying being tall is not a choice but buying big shoes is a choice and big shoes are evil. one naturally comes from the other. so saying they are wrong to do what they were both to do is kind of rediculous.
I sort of take back what I said tight then. Being gay is usually not a choice, but engaging in homosexual acts is a choice. I do not know what causes or what makes people gay. It was a prediction I made in no valid data I know of now.
People are gay usually have a serious mental problem caused by sexual abuse and ect. Sometimes they are borned that way, they have been molested and abused, or sometimes it is just an outright choice. The main point I was trying to make was that people should be able to have a preference whether being gay is ok or not, and that does not givr them the right to treat them any different.
you can choose what features get you hard?
People don't have to accept that being gay is ok. Does that mean they should treat them any differently? Hell no! Being gay is a choice not a trait. If it goes against a persons valued beliefs, they should not be forced to accept that it is ok. People are allowed to have opinions, but that does not mean that allows them to treat them any differently.
that's like saying no one should be obliged to accept that red hair is OK. or that being Asian is ok. it is a trait outside of their control. trying to tell people that isn't ok is makes someone an ******.
