he said he hoped a fictional magical creature would bless me with greater intellect. I wished a fictional magical creature would grant him any intellect at all, became anything would be an improvement.
Historybuff, please try to sound smarter than the guy your are insulting for being stupid. What you said made no sense whatsoever.
may a magical creature finally being you any intellect at all.
may god bless you with a greater intellect.
thereal I have no idea if that was an argument in favor of gun control or against it.
yeah, banning guns wont stop people using them so lets keep them legal. making murder a crime wont stop people from murdering so lets make it legal. infact lets have an annual purge so that the prison system isnt flooded as well, similar to how we promote abortion in order to prevent the foster care system from flooding.
banning the guns causes the violence that will be eliminated with the gun ban
you have more ppl carry guns if you were a mass shooter would you commit your act if you know 50% of the ppl thee will shoot back
most ironically dangerous thing about weed is getting caught with it
1 in 100 people born are physcopaths .live in a hugely populated area the odds are increased .we choose to live in societys .if your scared go live in the Antarctic .a sharp spear is better then a shity shield
people kill people, people kill them selfs the people are the problems not the guns
everyone knows drugs are addictive. that is common knowledge. alcohol is also an addictive drug. the only difference is a piece of paper that says one is allowed and one isn't.
kids, and people taking illegal drugs from drug dealers don't know that 1 taste can cause a addiction that leads to death. a sip of beer doesn't do that.
I said illegal. not legal alchol buff. there is a huge difference.
Banning guns is the most effective way , which must be accompanied with effective police services in altmost all regions. This will increase employment in police department and will help the country to improve tourism too.
except literally everyone knows that drugs are addictive and can kill you. the people overdosing know that.
do you hold the guy at the liquor store responsible for people who die of liver disease? if not you're a hypocrite.
actually with illegal drugs, it's the dealer who kills the people by selling them drugs they know can kill. the drug dealers kill by getting people adicted to drugs knowing very well they will probably die.
the person who as you say "kills yourself" doesn't know what the drugs can do, as the drug dealer does. that's a huge misconception in america that leads to drug dealers going free, and more lives ruined.
drugs are different than guns.
with drugs you kill yourself.
with guns you kill someone else, and most of the time it's an innocent, not a "badguy"
""In 2013, a total of 46,471 persons died of drug-induced causes in the United States"
where the hell did you got hundreds of thousands. your link just took me to the home page which did not show any stats.
I was referring to the homicides with guns
"About 570,000 people die annually in the U.S. due to drug use"-drugabuse.gov
and the number of deaths by firearms is more like 33k. not 11k.
where do you get your information from? it's more like 40k. not 400,000.
Terrorist are learning how to smuggle guns in now, as they did in France. Banning them or regulating them to the T will not help anybody. 400,000 people die to drugs each year in the USA, and drugs are illegal, Yet, 11k people die from guns each year. What do the facts show? People will do whatever the hell they want!
Just because something is against the law does not mean it will stop. You k ow what's against the law? Meth. You know what people still do? Meth. If someone really wanted access to a gun in order to kill people, it could happen with or without gun regulation.
proper licencing of guns are necessary.
an outright ban would help the violence, but it would endanger people who live very far from any police. if you live 45 minutes from any police response, you very much need a gun. also they do exist, and banning has never worked on anything.
however to not regulate something this dangerous and created for the sole purpose of death (as opposed to cars and trucks) is stupid.
it's both the person and the gun. you can kill a person with a knife, but it's very hard to kill 10 people with a knife, very easy with a gun, and an assault rifle can kill many people 10s of people easily.
you can't stop deaths but you can minimize them. background check and no under the table gun deals is step 1. even if you gift your car to your very own son he has to register it as his own or at least be on your registration AND insurance. that is the law that applies to cars, it can easily be applied to guns.
I do not think banning guns will help anything, and we have to remember it is the person using the firearm to kill people, not the gun itself. Using simple logic, we can infer that Stephen Colbert is an idiot and people will still kill people with or without a gun. Terrorist will use bombs and trucks as they already are. The only people we need to worry about are the mentally ill and we should take measures to not allow them to get guns.
stop the violent people.
