console + regular pc same price as a gaming pc, maybe even cheapee, especially if it's been a year or 2 since release.
high end pcs can cost thousands.
pcs are definitely more versatile and powerful. but comfort is definitely still a factor and consoles are so easy, no hassle straight to gaming.
When you buy a console: You are stuck with few choices that you may or may not like. Paid online, minimal backwards capability, and then you have to buy a computer to do other stuff you cannot do on a console.
PC is the best current graphics card can even outpace current TV graphics even.
and there is no denying it has more headaches. new drivers, operating systems, part compatibility etc. with a console you plug it in, then play.
personally I love PC gaming. I used to have an Xbox. but PC gaming is much more expensive. you might be able to buy a PC that can play anything for $350. I seriously doubt you could. the parts in it would be garbage. my graphics card alone was almost that much.
even if you could, games coming out a year after you bought it would be unplayable. console games are designed with a specific device in mind. PC games are not. PCs get outdated alot faster than consoles if you don't spend over $1,200 on it. my first pc cost me closer to $2,000 and was absolutely top of the line. 6 or 7 years later it couldn't play anything new. the Xbox 360 was able to play all new Xbox games for like 8 years before the Xbox 1 came out, and cost a fraction of what I paid for my PC.
-You can get a a pc that runs any game on high settings at 720p or 1080p or medium settings 350 dollars. Therefore, your logic is invalid.
-Corrections: All you need is a controller to play on the couch, and they are much cheaper than a PS4 or an Xbox One controller. Quit exaggerating.
-What really matters are the games when you buy something to play games on. Well pc has by far the best and most popular games.
-You can spend extra money buying a gaming pc, hook it up with hdmi to you tv. If a controller is wireless. Got to settings and scan for it. If it is wired, you are done. Then, download steam and put it on big picture mode.
-All consoles and Pcs have firmware updates, and they do not cause headaches. Buy a PC. I thought liberals go by facts. XD
have this debate after project sicario....
PC is by far the more powerful and versatile
option. but consoles provide consistency, stability, and fewer headaches.
gaming PCs are much more expensive + tons of extra accessories if you want smooth gaming on your tv/couch.
consoles provide no hassle, no upgrade, no firmware update, consistent video game experience.
-In more detail, the online play on Steam is the most community oriented of all the online services. It is controlled by the people, not the company. We have the most galleries, showings, and most helpful people on our fourms. Everyone does their part.
-We also have the most sales that give people the best bang for their buck. Steam summer sale is amazing and their is a game for everyone to get.
-Steam let's people create indie games and let their potential be explored. The most popular games and the most trending games are all on steam. Not to mention pc has the best exclusives.
-When you game on pc, you have trememdous amounts of option, you can build or buy. You can play on keyboard or controller and desk or couch. The possibilities are endless.
-The graphics are far superior than a console. You can max out games and AA to see what they game wants to be.
-Modding is so fun to do, and it makes games never get old. For instance, look at Skyrim and see what can happen with mods only on pc.
PC has the wider selection of games, especially free games. They have the better games. PC has free online play, unlike the PS4. PC is the first to introduce VR and all cool stuff that later comes to the consoles. You can build what pc you want and upgrade parts as you go instead of spending alots of money buying a new console. PC has better online service. PC is more convenient. What more can I say?
