There are lots of other things the government can spenx money on which will benefit people more. It's a nice enough idea in theory, but not really the governments responsibility.
But what is the benefit? Governments aren't responsible for simply showing people a good time.
It's fun and it won't cost too much money. I am sure the salary of the driver can be split among all the parents and the fuel, insurance and the maintenance cost of the bus too.
