it still helps us decide what's right and wrong and become a group. if not u would just have a dozen different ideas and people and no groups to come together and get things done. much like political parties
I wasn't talking about any individual. I was talking about our species as a whole.
Yes, religion and politics go hand in hand
Religion is also the guideline that people use to know how to treat their fellow man. Politics has a lot to do with how people are treated. Seeing that people are cared for and able to live in the best condition is not something that should be reserved to religion. Politicians should consider these principles when running for office--and especially while in office
hey I don't hate anyone. I'm told to love not hate.
nationalism, racism, discomfort, distrust, any typical us vs them. heck before the world got so small, people used to just fight with the village next to them despite having the same religion, the same race, and the same nation...
eliminating racism or religion won't diminish hatred in the least, just transform it. we need to socially evolve, just getting rid of specific divisions is a fools errand. if you want to eliminate hate you need to promote education, tolerance, and stop worshiping scarcity.
like how they meant a reason to discriminate against people. if we stopped allowing religion how would they justify their hate?
look at other arguments for why it should be there
