Most local television stations already censor smoking scenes in movies because they give a bad effect for children who watch it. Besides, smoking itself gives more disadvantages than advantages. On the contrary, the tax of cigarettes gives a high tax for development in a country.
Unfortunately this is true and I guess goes back to the bad old days of tobacco companies sponsoring films. In real life people don't look at all cool smoking, cowering in a door way that's not cool. Waking up in bed and having a really big cough is neither sexy nor cool.
