Yes, and any other adult figure that have been with the child could lead to violent behavior of the children. Improper classical and operant conditioning of the children may encourage more their negative attitude like punishing then without explanation. Also, if you've been into habits that are inappropriate, it could be imitated by the child since their brain are set to copy what were the actions of the other people because they will always think it is right as what was mention in the Albert Bandura's theory.

yes i agree . children are parents shadows . what they see is how they will act .

Well, I can't say for certain either way but it is patent that parents shape their children, for better or for worse.
