yes it is. people are pushed to do crime because they are enslaved by poverty unless they change the course of their lives in a positive way :)
I would say feeling cheated. There are people in worse situations that don't act in crime or revolution, but if they feel that it was more than mere circumstance or in their power to act as they should, that is what motivates us. Maybe there is someone who feels that they are a fair criminal and believes what they are doing is wrong, but they would have to believe that the system's responsibility to stop him is on their shoulders, so it is not him who must stop.
