You forgot the mic drop at the end of that @psychdave....I've seen those same stories floating around and was about to do the fact checking, but @historybuff and @psychdave, you guys beat me to it.
So I found the reason no one else reported on the first link. The site makes fake news. You first link is a fake story by a fake news site.
For those keeping score at home, that means you have 2 fake articles, 1 about someone being discriminated against (and you think it supports the discrimination), and 1 that is a for profit business discriminating against gay people. Of your 4 links, only 1 is in any way real and connected to the topic, and it is not really a priest being forced to perform marriages so much as a business owner not being allowed to discriminate by sexual orientation.
so all you managed to find was fake news, a priest who wanted to perform gay marriage, and for profit businesses that are descriminating against people.
congratulations, you're an idiot.
He is not running a church. If it were a nonprofit chapel, he would have a legal leg to stand on, but he can't justify discrimination based on his religion in a for profit business. That is the law.
lol your first link is hilarious. it is a fake news site. take a look at their most recent headline. http://worldnewsdailyreport.com/donald-trump-is-addicted-to-penis-enlargement-pills-claims-his-ex-wife/
your second example, as they've said, is a for profit business. this means they are required to obey state and federal regulations. this issue isn't that a priest refused to marry people. it is that a for profit business refused to serve people based on their sexual orientation, and that is a crime.
the third link is a priest sueing the church for them trying to stop him from performing gay marriages. it is the exact opposite of what you are trying to argue.
the 4th link is pretty much the same as the 2nd. a for profit business refused to offer their services based on sexual orientation. that is illegal.
Yes, it is a link about the church discriminating against a priest for being gay. How do you think that helps your case that priests should be able to discriminate against gay people? My literacy skills are fine, yours apparently not so much.
ministers are allowed to own private businesses. those businesses cannot discriminate.
I would, however, support a Rabbi refusing to marry a Jew to a non- Jew because by Jewish law, Jews are not allowed to marry gentiles.
In terms of interracial marriage, the Bible does not prohibit it so therefore it has no religious basis to support. Being against gay marriage does. Can your brain not comprehend the difference?
The fourth is a RELIGIOUS MINISTER refusing to marry 2 fags. It is a religious business, not a f***ing stripclub so obviously it is going to run his religious business based on RELIGIOUS PRINCIPLES. Your low intellect is worrying.
The third link is about a priest who has been revoked of his right to officiate at the church because he had a gay "marriage". Now he is suing the churche for following the bible. I think you should learn to read.
There are no pop ups on the second link whatsoever. Either you are lying, or your phone is f***ed.
Managed to copy the name to do some fact checking on your second link before a pop-up blocked it.
It is a load of crap published by a fake news outlet.
The first one I can't find any information beyond that single article, making fact checking impossible.
Second link I can't read through the popups saying I've won a jackpot and trying to infect my phone with malware. Makes it hard to look into.
The third one deals with a priest suing the church for discriminating against him. You need to do better vetting of your references to make sure they actually agre with you.
The fourth is a for profit business, not a church. Therefore they are not allowed to discriminate based on race, sex, or sexual orientation. Would you support them if they said they refused to perform interracial marriages?
just a question. can they not do that besides maybe the gov. one? the right to refuse service? sure it's rude but it's their right...right?
I wish i could meet some of the priests who DO support gay marriage, then i could educate them on the bible and humiliate them in the process.
Historybuff, if you got off your stupid, uneducated liberal a** and actually googled it, you wouldve found them straight away.

I have yet to see this ever happen. I've seen government officials refuse to sign the marriage certificates, florists refuse to sell flowers and bakers refuse to make cakes, but have never heard of a priest being sued for not marrying someone.
if there are so many then provide some.
There are many examples where priests have been sued for saying no.
and you can totally find an example of someone being forced to do so?
if religion doesnt allow then it shouldnt .
