Quran autocorrected to quarantine, funny how that was.

... what was the particularly innacuracies about my statement? I admit a lack of knowledge on the quarantine as a whole, but I don't think my statement concerning the quran's depiction of picked up biblical events was wrong. When I spoke to Muslim friends about the Bible, they had said the book was flawed and filled with mistakes (or lies, take your pick). Irregardless, if Mohammed the prophet was meant to complete and correct the record, why is so much omitted or not common knowledge (to my understanding/experience)?

I won't claim full knowledge of the Bible, but I will say at one time or another, raised as a child, I did read front to back. The old testament is the niche tribes (in a nutshell) and the New testament more global. I apologize for simplifying focuses in the Bible, as there are many, but the focus of narration would be distinct, wouldn't it be? thereby, the context is as mentioned.

Again, if I have little knowledge (I won't claim all) please correct me. But merely saying I do not know enough isn't a correction without the mention of what is mistaken.

After reading MrShines comment,i just realised how pointless this debate is because nobody except me on this app even has any basic or substantial knowledge on either of the holy books. my bad.

and no blueray, its not like comparing god vs god because we are comparing the holy books, which one is the true depiction.

You do realise that Allah means God right...

I don't think he's talking about God and Allah, I think the question was directed towards the writings. Like how is this one's teachings better than the other, and which one has more evidence?

its like comparing god vs god.....

Christains believed different about god and wrote the bible....

Muslims believed different about god and wrote the Quran

God's one.

And why would it matter anyway? why to compare? People have written what they believed through ages...

so what do u beleive makes someone a "REAL" Christian?

Okay. Arguments about historical accuracy will inevitably end with atheists commenting about the changes or influences of both books causing innacuracies, so instead of establishing credibility I'll say why I think one over the other. The Bible carries context from the previous book of the Jews, known mainly in the old testament. it has context. In the Quran the narration is "as you know" without compiling the previous books into it. Speaking to Muslims (ancedotals here) they would often mix up Peter and Judas, I suppose I can't fault for calling one person another but the commonplace mistake leaves me thinking... If the quran was written to rectify mistakes and add a new message, why tl;dr instead of being carefully word by word.

That being said, I understand the oral tradition is what carried the Quran, just why not the rest? Why not painstakingly fix the record on its translation instead of saying the mistakes are so numerous the previous edition is removed?

This is a Bible Or Quran debate, so it should be fair to treat it as one or other, not both or neither, IMHO. Still respect anyone who wants to say otherwise.
