Trump and the far right demonized Obama and Hillary regarding their refusal to use their specific choice of language. it seems that it is the right that is being politically correct here.
and I don't see any weakness in calling them plain old terrorists. it is what they are. it does seem stupid to insult your partners who are doing the majority of the fighting against these terrorists.
do you believe stupidity and stubbornness = strength? I dont.
As far as I know, nobody demonizes another for using different terms for radical islamic terrorist, but they do criticize others for refusing to use the term all around because of political correctness.
I guess the argument is we need to project strenght and refusing to use the terms is quite the opposite due to pc.
He expanded the discussion not because of bigotry, but to help eliminate the threat of foriegn radicals. I just wanted to make that crystal clear.
How am I pretending? What did he say to the Khan family? I assume it is something bigoted to you, but will later be rightly corrected by me.
but let's move beyond trump. the whole "Islamic terrorist" obsession was well before trump. what's the difference? why obsesses to the point where you demonize anyone for simply not using those specific words?
but he did expand the discussion to all Muslims with his Muslim ban. his attacks on a Muslim family of a war hero didn't help either.
sure the term itself may not be directly aimed at Muslims in general, but your pretending he hasn't said anything else to qualify him as a demogauge who has attacked numerous groups.
Trump has continously said he is not against Muslims, but has said he is against Radical Islamic Terrorist. For people who say he has a vendetta against Muslims, you need to take your tinfoil hat off because it is nothing more than speculation.
and what benefit does calling it that highly specific term carry?
recently he said it in the second round of prez debate.
oh yeah dude. You are so humourous
it is a debate app
wanna debate me?
that's right. we have to use those exact specific words and any other equally valid grouping of words is wrong.... says the party that is supposedly against political correctness.
And keeps on saying it. But people never understood the words.
