It baffles me that we continue to send foreign aid to countries who do not want our involvement. Not to mention that we are borrowing the funds to do so and what happens when they want their money back and we don't have it? If a country doesn't want our help, I say forget them and let them deal with things themselves. We could work on our debt problem and then focus on issues such as childhood hunger, homelessness, veterans and disease research.
America will be better if it sees the importance of its own problems. Spending too much money on foreign wars is not really a good decision. It should use the money to solve its own problems. An idiom says “Look inside before you look outside”. There are still so many many domestic problems inside America that needs to be solved.
