which it then needs and in the past gets a revival which takes it back. it just needs people willing to do something and follow God.
My point exactly. in almost every case, it's become lucrative for those in charge.
depends how it's used. the said money sent to Christian churches is supposed to help the poor and sick. I wouldn't say doing so would be lucrative. though the church has forgotten this.

I believe that ORGANIZED religion is a very lucrative business, but I would have to argue that the concept of religion in itself is not a lucrative business
I'm not bashing anybody's religious beliefs. However, I think religion is a business that will never go out of style. Wether it's dues or tithe etc., religions tend to have a monetary tie to the individual that in one way or another guarantees the individual's salvation or merely fulfills their obligation to the entity.
