this is one of the things I'm trying to change. so are others
The problem you are going to run into is that while there are lots of local churches that struggle to stay open and do their best to help their congregation and those in need, there are far more churches that are part of organizations that get millions, or billions, of dollars tax free that largely gets funneled into the church rather than helping people.
I am in no way saying small, well intentioned churches don't exist. They just are not nearly as prominent or powerful as the multimillion dollar religious empires.
So like the Catholic Church?
those people need to look where the Bible says to help the poor. no I mean actual real churches. no TV churches that only want ur money
duffers u r right at that and religion is bad for some things but it's good for ur philosophy and maybe u find one that u like. Not all religions build churches and take ?? from people...
You mean like Billy Graham's church?
not all the time. if ur in America go look at a lot of churches.
There's no point. Religion builds palaces of gold yet fails to feed to poor.
all relegions contain something special content or Morales in themself .I think , they all should be merged in a single relegion by collecting those meaningful features ...and it'd be termed as Humanity ..Father of all relegions ..
It's learning to think, learning to be a philosopher even if u disagree with a religion ;)
