Same with cops. Does age alter affection?
you can't control your son if they decide to be a murder. many criminals have come from outstanding families. it's not genetic.
he was a kid, he could have been any ones kid.
And why would he go to say Trayvon woild be his son? What if he had been a rapist, a drug runner, a murder. Nobody knew at the time. It was all emotional. And you look st Zimmerman at the time. Assuming his innocence before trial, Obama was practically trying to stir up emotion.
because this wasn't a typical homicide. this brought both the gun and stand your ground controversies to the forefront of the National conversation. he couldn't not address it.
And another thing. Why did obama address Trayvon in particular?
Im saying there is certainly a distinction.
yes... sorry the character limit on the thread name makes some things get cut.
so trayvon was a kid, Obama could see him as his son, any parent could. most cops aren't kids, you can't quite picture them in the same way, that isn't Obamas fault.
when children get killed it's a little different, but not because he's black. I don't think Obama congratulated the dead black people on their commendable and dangerous duty.
Do you think Obama did not show proper and equivalent respects to the slayin officers?
Trayvon wasnt black? the question is coverage.
trayvon was a kid. he is also irrelevant. Zimmerman wasn't a cop.
Trayvon would be the president's son. I feel that has bias for that thug coming without evidence for the case.
and is there any empirical way you can show that?
I think there is a different level of frustration that Obama shows between the two.
