so his plan to fix education is to cut the budget?!? wtf.

the only viable part is the complaint that the Fed shouldn't profit from student loans, SOMETHING ORIGINALLY RAISED BY DEMOCRATS, but which by itself will have no effect, what, a tiny insignificant part of the massive debt.

what else... eliminating work protection and blasting it as a monopoly, which sounds right, except the problem with monopolies is price gouging, and free schools totally price gouge.

and he dared to brag about his scam of a university! wow.

the only thing he will be doing is bringing back garbage jobs to gullible uneducated americans. excellent.

"I will cut the budget, but not services"
double talk pandering to all sides without any plan. no answer on how.

so the only thing the right is doing in education is an alternative to something that already exists, and is ultimately useless in our economy.

awesome.

charter schools are an alternative to public highschools... GEDs are worthless on their own, I'm talking college or vocational schools, you know the stuff that will actually advance a person's life, not keep them at minimum wage.

charter schools have had similar performance to public schools, some are excellent, some are crap. all are private profit driven, therefore reject many special needs students and avoid poorer neighborhoods... the groups that actually need the boost. great job *sarcastic*

privatizing education is a horrible idea. education is another area where PROFIT SHOULD NOT BE THE MAIN GOAL.

Republicans have no problem with charter schools, but Democrats are opposed to that. You only seem to be getting one part of the message. The current Republicans are not doing a lot, and a lot of them are only moved by money and THEIR future not the people's. They will get moving when Trump is in office. I think people should be able to pay for their own things such as healthcare and ect. Healthcare should be competitive, no subsidies. However, I think there should be safety nets for the American who is disadvantaged. Trump's healthcare plan is just that.

both left and right are capitalism. the question is more laissez-faire or more socialist sprinkle on the capitalist core.

exactly what are Republicans doing for this nation? bringing back shit paying bottom of the barrel jobs and doing nothing to expand education, college or vocational? name one policy repubs are pushing to advance their so called opportunity equality? your party has betrayed you and you can't even see it.

democrats are the only ones pushing for any sort of expanded access to education. Republicans only pay lip service to the people.

It is really hard to say that right wing government policies will turn us into a third world country when capitalism made us a first world country and the most technologically advanced country.
I think there are problems with all forms of government, but I always think the free market works the best. The invisible hand will fix the economy before it breaks and economic freedom is directly tied with economic growth. I am not in favor of lassiez-faire capitalism, but I am more in favor towards a mixed economy.

socialism is on the left side of the spectrum and covers a large and varied part of that spectrum ending with communism as an extremely far left form of socialism.

many see the spectrum as a circle not a line with the far left and far right having much more in common with each other than either does with the moderates in the middle.
