That might be enough to see the common perception.
It looks like most people are against to this statement.

They may be learning or I should rather say programming themselves but they can't think. They can never be the living beings. So I think there is no comparison b/w us and robots
robots can be efficient but they can never be better than human. they lack the ability to make decisions as human do. they make decisions based on logic and set of algorithm written by HUMANS but some time decisions are needed to be taken from heart and not brain.
No. Humans are better than robots. We are much more complex than a robot who have emotions and a life. Robots are just a man made thing.
Can Robot make Humans?
This question speaks it all
robots are not better than humans. any kind of robot will never be better than any human. be it a self-learning robotbthat knows how to act and such as a human. in the end, it is still not human. it has no spirit. it's soul is not absolute. what makes then feel pain like they should is what makes them human unlike robots who would most likely not feel pain as it was made to ignore those feelings. and another fact, humans create robots, which makes us better as without us robots would not exist.. whereas if there are no robots, we still exist.. which states the fact that we are better as we are not dependent to them. same goes for Robot building robots... who built the robots that build robots? humans
At the moment that is true, however there are now computers that can learn. They interact with people (and pictures) and learn behavior as a result. This means that no one is directly programming them, they are learning by observation, much as people do. Chat bots have been around for a while, learning how people talk by talking to people. The problem is the people who tended to interact with them also tended to like to say random, nonsensical things to see how it would react. This means that the chat bot would learn to say random gibberish back. Google has their own learning computers that process images to build ideas of what things are. Basically they show it pictures of birds and it compares them to build a "mental picture" of what constitutes a bird. If you are interested in learning more about it, Google recently released images made by their Artificial Neural Networks while it was "dreaming" (generating images from white noise with no instructions of what to do). They are interesting and periodically vaguely disturbing.
robots don't understand or know nor can they do anything that humans do not program them to do. their knowledge only advances if our knowledge advances. if someone knows how to program a robot to speak is the robot better for speaking? or Is the human better for programming it?, enough said
No, just better.
better as in morally better?
Yes, but robots lack common sense. They cannot understand basic concepts, such as: pain is not fun. They are machines. Flames are hot. etc. Humans on the other hand, do have quite a bit of intelligence, but lack efficient constant progress as opposed to robots. Humans are great at inventing new machines and items, but robots are more efficient for building them.
Depending on the task, definitely. Robots are much better at monotonous work, lifting heavy things, rapid work, and arm wrestling.
