as long as you intend to carry through with that when you say it, then it isn't a lie. it may not turn out that way, but we intend for it to turn out that way.
just like an athlete isn't lying when they say they are going to win a game. they might win or they might not. but as long as they believe what they are saying, it isn't a lie.
