I think they have enough time for recess...& it should not be extended as there is a high chance of disturbing and diverting...
I don't even have recess. I didn't even have it in elementary school. so rip..
School is meant to prepare children for success beyond school. In elementary school, children need recess to develop social skills, to learn decision making, make and have play time with friends, and to just take a break and get energy out. In the next levels of school(middle and high) recess should be taken out. Children by that point should have learned the major skills they need, and time should be dedicated to education. That's what will make a child successful, I think... share thoughts :)
