so can u explain?
I asked u to explain and I guess u didn't see it so I was asking again
what if I said pretty please:-)
It is more than the father... It comes when you stay connected with her for 9 months
she definitely was. a ton of people went on stand and said she was and her history showed it but they still gave her to her. how essential is this connection ur talking about? I don't think it would be more than the father
Then the mom must have not been like a drug addict or anything.. I told you there is that unspoken attachment BTW the child and her. So they give the child to her
I understand that but I have seen situations where the dad had everything that u want the kid and the mom didn't but she still got the kid. until three years later they gave the kid to the dad because the mom od.
Every time the situation is different. We have to consider a lot of situation like family, money and all.
but most of the time it goes to the mother even if the dad is a way better option
Listen if you are talking about the court case and all there is a lot of arguments in there and if it suits fit the child Is given to the father also at times
what about if the mother is a druggie and the dad's clean?
I agree... If women can do physical work today, so men can also do baby care and all. But till 5 years the child is usually given to the mothers when there is some dispute between them about it as the mother has given birth to the child and is so more attached to the child and plus the child is also automatically more attached with her. As he remains in her stomach there is that heart to heart connection between them. So till he has become more sensible he likes to stay with his mom whether his mother hates him or not.
a woman can easily use a breast pump to leave milk for the baby that can be fed to it by a man from a bottle.
is that the only limitation? cause it isn't that hard to get around.
but if we are talking about the profession, few highered cared givers breast feed their clients children. they would have to be simultaneously pregnant to even be able to do that. I don't think that happens in the US today in any but exceptionally rare circumstances. so it's kind of irrelevant. when it comes to baby sitting, nannying, or teaching, men can do it just as well.
All right.. No need to be so rude for that.. I just asked you. Learn to answer in simple words... You must be mad thinking the whole world is mentally ill besides you!!
Are you mentally challenged? Sexism is wrong, and it should never be tolerated. "prejudice, stereotyping, or discrimination, typically against women, on the basis of sex" Nowhere did I support or advocate for sexism. Women can do whatever the hell they want, and men can do whatever the hell they want.
So you are sexism is all right
Men are capable of providing adequate child care, and I never denied that. I said women will dominate that field because they are built for it, genetically. Is breast feeding not considered care giving? Also, what gender provides that tool?
I can understand how physically strenuous jobs will be dominated by men, but why exactly are men incapable of providing adequate childcare? and leadership roles are not physically strenuous jobs that require huge upper body strength.... you start with science, but then switch to traditional stereotypes.
I think sexism is abysmal. Yes, there is inequality on all parts of the spectrum, male and female. However, these "issues" that feminist fight about are a joke to real issues facing the nation. Women have different qualities than men. That is evident in our DNA, and they promote different responses to different situations. Women can be anything they want, but women and men will dominate different and certain fields. Women will dominate caregiving and men will dominate construction jobs. To further my argument, I atleast have to know what examples of sexism Nemiroff. It sounds stupid first off. By the way, women are the most priviledged class in American society and culture. The most priviledged class period!
well it depends on which country you live in
I don't think anyone overcompensated. women are still viewed as the primary caregiver and thus "you cannot separate a child from the mother"
it's not a swinging in the other direction. it's part of the same old misguided view. sexism still exists, and it hurts everyone including men. although it is much less of a pressing issue then race and income inequality at the moment.
and the current issue of sexism is already big enough. no need to swing wildly in the other direction.
I agree! Its too easy to to over-compensate and create a new issue.
do you feel that family courts treat men fairly?
