Well this means the following:
As India is a country with an amalgamation of various castes and creeds, there are some castes which are considered as inferior or backward. So gov't. has given them the name of SCHEDULE CASTE(SC), SCHEDULE TRIBES(ST) and other backward classes (OBC). They have been given special reservation quota in every gov't. colleges and jobs. So the question arises that should these law of reservations be continued or not??
I m giving you answer on basis of definition of backward classes in India.A member of caste or community who are recommend for special privilege in education and employment.
in my perspective such privileges should be given to those who can't access it. so such privilege should be given to economically backwards and if someone is physically disabled.
if someone is from backward class and financially well then what's the point in giving them employment.
if someone is from backward class and have complete facility to get them educate and don't struggle like physically disabled do ,then why they need privilege in education?
Could you explain in a bit more detail. I'm not sure I understand what you mean by backward classes.
