Makson, can I ask you a personal question?

1 year, 10 months ago

The only way to have an objective standard is for there to be a God

1 year, 10 months ago

Why should humanity be punished if there's no standard to be judged by? If the standard is relative, like and idea from this world, then it is relative. Unless a standard is objective, then it is worthless to judge others by.

Murder is forbidden because it infringes upon the rights of another human being. That's what most laws SHOULD be, but we have some pretty stupid ones

Makson, in a world without God, what's right and wrong?

1 year, 10 months ago

Most of countries act like they want to help but they don't.
Bad use of free will:
1. Wars (still happening)
2. Bullying (still happening)
3. Killing (still happening)
4. Racism (still happening)
5. Pollution and global warming (still happening)
6. Many people still steal
While it's still happening u can't deny it. We are worse then ever.

And why is murder forbidden by the law?

well look around the world. besides some countries *cough*nk*cough* they try to help the people. then on an individual level I would say we all want a happy and good life.

Humanity won't be punished by noone, but question is "Should it be?"

1 year, 10 months ago

Free will means doing what you want. If you say that free will has to be used only to do good things then its not free will anymore. Humans are free to do good or bad things.

1 year, 10 months ago

The question is, punished by who? And What standard?

1 year, 10 months ago

Not for everyone. Only for people who can't live without internet. They could get other punish... But humanity won't be punished so...

it hurts mentally and emotionally. not all pain is physical.

1 year, 10 months ago
makson
replied to...

No it doesn't. Punish could be for an example "internet is turned off for a month". It doesn't hurts.

Humanity should not be punished

1 year, 10 months ago
M3phisto
replied to...

Yes, punishement does always involves pain.

1 year, 10 months ago
makson

Punishment doesn't always mean pain

1 year, 10 months ago

This is so illogical... punishement involves pain doesnt it? Why would you bring pain to humanity... because we are hurting ourselves? Do you want to kill the pain with more pain? That can't possibly work. Humanity should be encouraged that it goes on the right path... And you should check your facts because overall, the world of today is 10x better than in our whole past, even as close as the 20th century.

UN needs to get fixed. but it's idea is sound. all ur other reasons have severely dropped sent we started trying to fix it.

death isn't inherintly bad. it's something we all go through.
suicide is a sin because it destroys ur life before it's time. it's outside God's plan. we're not perfect but we are trying overall to help.

1 year, 10 months ago

I think we were already punished and we didn't learn a thing from it which is sad therefore we are stubborn as a race and a species

1 year, 10 months ago

What is your basis of comparison? what are you comparing our performance too?

I don't think we are as good as we could be, but I do feel we are in a much better place then we were at most points in our history. overall we are heading in the right direction. we have fewer wars, less hunger, more knowledge, freedoms, and respect of human rights then at any time before.

when comparing to ourselves in the past we are doing great! and I have great optimism that we will make things even better in the future.

UN didn't stop war.
People in Africa still die.
Many people are still being racisted (idk if i can say like that).
People still suicide because of bullying.
Program's mission failed.
Humanity is failing. We should get punished.

1 year, 10 months ago

But we still have these problems. Humanity includes bullies, killers, racists... Id we r doing great then why people still die for provided reasons? U think death is not bad. U r mad! Death is end of concious and of a miracle (life). Or u reincarnate but why would God forbid suicide?

people get help in africa. though the UN is flawed it's purpose is to help agaisnt war. yeah we are doing great agaisnt racism. yeah we are doing great agaisnt bullying. we have programs set up to help.

And I don't. R we doing great if every kid and women in Africa walk distance like 16 times between earth and moon and we aren't doing anything. Are we doing great with wars? Are we doing great with racism? Are we doing great with bullying (u have no idea how many kids suicide because they r bullied). Are we doing great with killing so much? Are we?
