if one finds a member of the other sex 'distracting', they are mostly likely sexist or a pevert. people can only learn that members of the other sex should be treated the same if they integrate with them and learn to get along with them rather than see them as alien creatures
we humans are a social group. so interaction between the same sex n opposite sex is like our basic right. Interacting with each other n every one in a friendly way is what makes us human n this interaction act should not be prohibited.
I can say that going to a same sex school sucks, mostly because nobody knows how to act around anyone of the opposite gender, and in general it doesn't benefit anyone at all.
I mean sure, less people get distracted due to other pupils, but mixed schools just in general seem to me as though they help to understand the other gender rather than talking of them as though they are mythical unicorns.
Why? Intergration seems healthy and fine to me. I think having males and females is a healthy experience for people. I can't think of a reason not.
Do you have a reason for this?
