#1 killer is heart disease.
should we start banning unhealthy foods?

what kind of a police state will we live in after we finish banning everything bad?

warning labels aren't policing, they are warnings. I'm sure there is a law requiring plastic surgeons to warn them of the risks as well.

I don't know what you are talking about stupid is policed. Have you never heard of a warning label.

Now that you've made a logical argument, I can agree with those points.

oddly enough I'm with bigb on this one. people can die from literally anything. you be poisoned by drinking too much water. so banning something that can kill you is going to be a list of everything.

further more pretty much anything people do can kill them as well. people die driving motor cycles, people die sky diving, people die ridding their bike. death is a part of life. it is not the job of the government to tell people how to live their lives.

now if the plastic surgery in question is overly dangerous or being performed by people not prepared to be doing it, then by all means the government should step in. but government cannot control morality. it doesn't work. not to mention most people don't really have a problem with it so why would you try?

So banning cosmetic surgery because it's possible someone can die from it? Seems kind of fascist to me. So ban everything that has a possibility of death? That's not reality at all, to ban anything you deem as being dangerous or has the possibility of death is a little ridiculous

No, you cannot police all the stupid things that happen. One time I licked Play-Doh because the commercial says "Fun to play with, not to eat!" and I wanted to make sure they weren't lying to me. That was stupid.

However, when people are constantly dying from a defined cause, it's not really that hard to put a stop to it. People die from cosmetic surgery, cops say, "Hey, dying is no gewd", and it's put to a stop. Simple.

people die from lots of stupid things. you can't police people doing stupid things to themselves.

They're not related, but what I'm trying to say Is people should spend their money more wisely. Many people die from having too many cosmetic surgeries. They should buy, like, $32 of asparagus instead. That's a better investment.

no one is spending public money these. if people want to pay lots of money for it then that's their prerogative.

how exactly would this money end up in cancer research? that's kinda like saying beer is not necessary. we should invest that money in space travel. the two things have to connection at all.

Because big butts are not necessary and money is better invested in cancer research or some crap like that

why would we do that? if someone wants it why should we stop them?
