Yes, of course you can be beautiful AND have brains. You can be a model and be intelligent. It's not a dichotomy. Let's not pretend that mascara glues girls' eyes shut so they can't read a word of Dicken's work or solve a trigonometry problem. Let's talk about how no boy has ever been asked if he'd rather get his bachelor's or be married; no boy has ever been told he's "too handsome" to run for office. So why does a girl have to cover herself to be taken seriously?

The models who have been in the industry for decades and are still going strong have to be intelligent. If they were stupid, they would be yesterday's news. In an ever changing industry, you have to be smart.
