What religious rights do you feel the right protects that the left ignores?
Most Christians in the US are only right wing because the shitty left doesnt protect religious rights, whereas the right does.
true it's just a trend I have been seeing generally. if I had to guess why most are on the right it's for moral reasons differing with the left. I don't think the right cares either though so really it's a bad deal all around that doesn't look like it will get better.
individuals of all sides, religions, races, and people in general do stupid shit. I'm sure you can provide examples, and I'll be able to provide an equal number of examples of any group discriminating similarly against any other group. It's just a consequence of the variety of humanity.
You can't blame any group for their bottom of the barrel individuals. It's a bell curve. it only becomes a real issue when it becomes widespread, mainstream, and enters the halls of power. I highly doubt anti Christian sentiment rises to that level.
antigay, trans, Muslim, black, and Mexican sentiment is rising and entering the halls of power. usually perpetrated by people who identify as christians... Not because of their Christianity, mostly due to their far right policies which have been growing icreasingly insane. They just often happen to be Christian.
far right atheists are just as guilty of this behavior, left leaning christians typically are not... but it just so happens that most christians are on the right to varying degrees in my experience.
I don't include psychdave or nemiroff on this because i haven't seen any hypocritical standards from them.
