Actually there have been real legit stories out there where a player was paid to perform bad. Not everyone on the team is cheating but don't be surprised if a player was paid off to play bad.
I can't think of any sports that there is a evidence of being fixed. Could you provide some examples?
Some things like professional wrestling are, but they make no illusions about that being a sport.
That depends on people organising or participating in the sports event for eg if I and you participate if you are the good guy than you won't but I am not so I will
