The debate "Teachers should not leave homework" was started by

It looks like most of the people in this community are on the agreeing side of this statement.

but those exercises should be for practice only and should not count in grades.
And in other subjects that do not need practice exercises, they should not leave unnecessary homeworks.
but you need to practice math drills and essay writing.... and what about reading the material? all live and in a group?
Rather, I wanted to say that they do not leave any homework, neither for home nor for school, or that it is not compulsory
many teachers would appreciate the opportunity to read a book or listen to some music while the kids do drills such as in math class, or write a paper in class.... but that would be a spectacular waste of time and money.
