Qur'an, is we wanted to be technical, translating a name, or title, which has unique meaning and forcing it to have a phonetic translation is often screwy. Koran is fine too. Also, I am fairly certain that the Islamic Crusades were 400 years prior to
it's actually spelled the Quran** and Islam isn't bad. just like Christianity isn't bad. its a simple religion, but when you have people like extremists taking advantage of their religion and slaughtering thousands of people just because they are "preaching" to their holy god, that's what makes it imperfect. I do acknowledge that the Christian crusades did start the Muslim crusades, but to be caught in the current times today, it seems a little unlawful. Religion is about about acceptance in their kind. The Quran does not state that they should slaughter people for not believing in what they do. In fact, I have a quote from the Quran right here... " strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their abode is hell, and evil is their destination" Quran 9:73.... not once does it say slaughter thousands of people. it states that they will go to hell for not believing... just the same as Christianity.... but they use this verse to their advantage. Extremist Islams preach fear rather than their religion. More want control, and others preach to it.
the holy Koran has science facts too..
by imperfect facts I guess you mean claims that don't have evidence to support them.
the religion is based on the fact that arch-angel Gabriel came to Mohammed in a cave and told Mohammed the truth of life.
Of course no one can verify this, we can't scientifically investigate invisible beings that people talk to alone in caves 1400 years ago
