it's much easier to be ambivalent about abortion if you are a man. just because an issue isnt central to you doesnt mean it's not central to others.

on the flip side, if you believe that the developing person is an individual with rights, then abortion is also a vital issue. its murder.

I agree with you that to me personally abortion is not at all central or important. but to suggest it's a nonissue and a distraction overall is patently false. I dont think you are giving anyone elses perspective half a thought.

if you want a distraction it's the xenophobia. using dozens of violent criminals to change policy on millions of innocent migrants is a distraction. the "deporter in chief" earned his title deporting violent migrants in record numbers. if you feel the migrants are wrong for coming illegally, why is that not the reason stated instead of falsely equating millions of nonviolent people with a handful of animals?
