yeah I agree! I like to create topics to discuss, most of the time I'm pretty neutral there should definitely be an option where you can say neither agree or disagree!
Fair enough. You can switch your vote to no once a topic is created, but I understand now why you voted the way you did (though I would like to see an abstain or undecided button added so that people could join the discussion while deciding)
I didn't choose to vote yes, when you write a topic it automatically picks yes, but i dont want to chose no either, I neither agree or disagree but it's a good topic to debate
By voting yes, you are saying that you agree that everything in the Bible is false. By saying that you know some of it is true, you have shown that you do not actually agree with your own vote.
the idea of this app is to debate not argue, so most of the time I'm open to all sides of the discussion,
psychedave, because I wrote this as a topic to debate not because I necessarily have one opinion or the other
well, as an atheist, some of the events actually did happen. Its not total fiction but it definitely isn't reliable as a history book. many, many, events have been proven false. Examples would be the flood, the arc, how the earth is 6000 years old, how god created it in a matter of days, the migration that should have taken place after the flood etc. Not to mention things like babel, talking snakes, a parting of a sea and so on. Which cannot be technically proven wrong, are completely idiotic and illogical to put "faith" into.
If you know that some parts of the Bible are historically accurate and it is a matter of how much, why is the topic "none of it happened"? You have just proven that you don't even agree with your own premise for debate.
basically Mary was a women who slept around and became pregnant and didn't no the father and so said its a gift from god. and we all stupid believed it and let it lead us to make Christianity!
yeah youre right about that I know there was a flood etc but i mean the stuff like god created the heavens and the earth in six days which we now have evidence for the big bang which took millions of years
There is historical evidence that at least some of it happened. There was a man named Jesus who was known for performing miracles. I can't say how much of it is accurate, but at least some has a historical base.
