Took the words right out of my mouth.
It should be up to the individual to chose whether they want to eat that or not. They have the self control, they just need to find and use it
How about instead you start a support group for people who are addicted to sugars? That way everyone wins.
you can't ban things that people want. if they are only hurting themselves they have right to do so. that's why prohibition didn't work.
Because more people know that cigarettes and alcohol are dangerous. There are support groups and companies that sell things to get you off your addiction. Fatty and sugary foods are marketed to the public (including impressionable youth) and there doesn't seem to be any widespread knowledge of just how bad (and addictive) this crap is
If cigarettes and alcohol are not banned, why should candy and pop be?
