College not only gives you more knowledge, it teaches you to think conceptually, teaches you to learn and, perhaps most importantly, teaches you how to follow instructions which is crucial in work life.
People have been trashing education for years, learning and being clever is seen as elitist. No it isn't college teaches you how to think, it teaches the what that comes before the why and how. Anyone can learn anyone can develop those skills. The idea that education is of a little, is an insult to those who died for the right to education.
