you have unrealistic expectations from homosexuals that they shouldn't be this way.
Why it isn't right dalton7532?

I think that it shouldn't need a petition to happen. If she's a lesbian in the movie then so be it, but I think that should be a decision made by the writers for the sake of the character, not people's feelings.

You can't change a belief and I won't try to change yours. It's here though, we might as well accept it with open arms.

2 years, 5 months ago

I am not treating anybody else different here. I just hold the belief that you should not be gay, and I also hold the belief that if you engage in homosexual acts, that is not right. That is not discrimination. I am not hating anybody.

2 years, 5 months ago

except I'm not discriminating against any group of people. you're the only bigot here.

2 years, 5 months ago

what if your child was in the LGBTQ community, would you not support them?

Let me clarify, they may be normal people in our society, but the belief they are holding that being gay is ok and normal is not normal. I do not treat them any different than anybody else, but I still hold the belief that being gay is not normal nor okay. You can call me a bigot all you want, but I will just call you a bigot back. no. they are a normal human being. you have a serious problem. it's called being a bigot.

You should not be in love with the same gender. People have serious problems if they do.

2 years, 5 months ago

If someone is in love with somebody it doesn't matter what a person believes they deserve to be happy.

They have problems if they are gay. It is not normal nor right to be gay regardless if you are religous or not.

2 years, 5 months ago

I don't think anyone in the LGBTQ community needs to see a doctor. They are normal people.

2 years, 5 months ago

-Being gay is not right. People who are gay usually are sexually abused, molested, born that way, or had any trumatic experience. People who are gay need to see a doctor. That is all I can really say.
-It should not be encouraged on anything, especially on kid's movies. It won't combat bigotry or hate.
-I am not a person who throws cans at gays. I do not treat them personally any different. I just disagree with them being gay and hope they change.

I doubt it will happen because Disney is heavily Christian.

2 years, 5 months ago

as long as they aren't showing sex, whether gay or straight, I don't see any problem in Disney showing loving relationships. it just helps to combat bigotry and hate.

2 years, 5 months ago

Actually STDs are on the rise again since 2006, but that's beside the point. I think a gay (main) Disney character in a movie would actually help remove the stigma on homosexuality in the US.

2 years, 5 months ago

All that stuff is basically a perversion to me so why give kids the idea anyway.

2 years, 5 months ago

Encourging sexuality and all that stuff to increase the curiosity of little kids is still not a good idea. sure homosexuality is equal and stuff but its still not normal to a lot of ppl and you can't hate them for that.

stds reached their peak in the 80s and 90s... they are currently going down, at least in the US

2 years, 5 months ago

Being gay shouldn't be encouraged. If someone feels this way fine but all this sexuality being encouraged and so exposed. No wonder STDs float around more.

lol, how about learning how to copy and paste before trying to teach me about technology.

But your response is contradicting your side, the blue bar with agree in white on it means agree or you think what they are saying is more correct considering how you see it. The red bar with white letters in it that read disagree means the opposite of agree. Just a technological class for you.

Agreeing with the debate then saying the opposite in the debate makes no sense. either click one and drive on, or just don't click it.

pretty much, but why is this being attributed to the lbgt community? cause someone tweeted something and it got a bunch of likes?

If a man tweets something about the ghost busters not being men and it gets a bunch of likes and followers, does that mean all men think that way?

this wasn't a vote or a community action. one person said something randomly online, and a bunch of people casually liked it cause it sounded fun on social media at the moment. this story is some nonsense meant to demonize a community. I bet you half those likes came from 9 year old boys and perverts. their target audience does not care.

2 years, 5 months ago

Who cares? The kids just want to sing Let it Go along with her, they could care less about who she hooks up with.

why isn't it right?

2 years, 5 months ago

I'm going to have to agree.
Disney animated movies are most often for prepubescent kids. it is very rare for children of that age to think of sex in any context, straight or gay.

Disney's live action shows on TV are aimed at a slightly older audience and should have some lbgt representation, but not their cartoon movies. there is no need.

lbgt should not feel discriminated against. they have every right to live how they want to live, without hiding or shame. however straight is the norm and preteen entertainment should keep the heavy stuff to a minimum.

lbgt themes can he introduced in post teen, PG Entertainment.

I think what they are trying to say is that being gay isn't something that can be helped. and therefore people who are gay shouldn't be treated any differently from the rest of us. if you can't see that then you are the one that isn't normal.

2 years, 5 months ago

Being gay is not normal. It is not right to be gay. We are meant to be with the opposite gender regardless if you believe in God or not. The LGBT community has gone way to far about shoving that being gay is ok down are throats, and putting it in a movie that millions of kids will see is wrong.
