the people who make up every army are very similar. some will be good men defending their country. some will be people looking for a pay cheque. some will be jerks looking a job that gives them power and authority. and some people just want a legal way to hurt people. the military attracts many different kinds of people. the German army was no more or less evil than the American army, or any other army in the war.
