just to clarify, the lion king jab wasnt for you personally, but for this idea that the earth would be better without us as if a) the earth has any form of preference, or b) that non human life never caused mass extinctions.
this is actually a common belief and I am the one fighting against mass consensus, but I think they are wrong due to faulty perspective. the earth as a whole doesnt care. it is us who will suffer from our actions, along with a few large animals, but life as a whole, and the earth, will be fine.
so other life forms dont kill things?
nature isnt a pretty balance like in the lion king. it's a brutal struggle of starvation and gore. with zero pauses for reflection on their actions.
yeah but I like it here I'm glad humans occupy the earth even if we take up space and kill things Its all worth it
