infinite power to anyone is always very dangerous. Any person or group of people who has power to control the state will first think of their needs then the citizen's need, its a human tendency. Again communism is possible in the case when all the citizens of a nation are truly peace loving which is also not the case. So according to me democracy with written sets of rules i.e. republic democracy is best form of government.
That means you only want those who make sure they aren't seen alive with wives and healthy children of their own in power over you and your own children.
I grant no rewards to the one who sacrifices everything and everyone related to themselves just so they can have time and energy to attack folks who haven't sacrificed anyone of mankind.
if the people are provided with adequate oversight and control over the government, yes the government should be empowered to be a force for good.
however, without such protections an empowered government can be the people's worst enemy. I do not think we should limit government out of perpetual fear but work to ensure that an educated people have the ultimate say.
the state is important for environmental work and In order to make diferences smaller. the state is doing those things Well and should therefore get more recources and more control
