marvel is better at movies and TV shows. DC is better at cartoons now, although I'd have to say that the old marvel cartoons like the original xmen, spiderman etc were far superior to anything from either universe now.
as for comics. I'd still say marvel. DC had too many overpowered heroes that makes it boring. marvel is all about overpowered villians.
So finally.... DC or mArVeL?
superhero stories have been written and refined for decades. they have compelling characters, plots, and worlds. I think those that turn their nose to superhero movies probably never gave them a shot and thought they were children's activities.
also they may have been jaded by the shitty superhero movies of the 90s which were objectively garbage. since then marvel got it right and all their movies are spectacular... DC Should stick to comics.
It's Cuz sometimes the actor moves on, and true super hero fans don't really get tired of seeing their hero on the big screen
I hope DC prevails. Its animated cinematic universe is too much to give up. I learned to like Damien.
The web serial worm could get itself somewhere someday, it would be unique and expansive, though it might be too niche.
Valiant comics may do good with an X O Manowars movie, much more guaranteed to succeed. Ninjak more likely a bust by itself, but Deadshot could be by itself as a B rate movie
I heard that Chronicle was going to get a sequel with a man who makes his own super suit, but lost in favor of a literally "Chronicle 2" in production hell.
The Amory Wars is also in production hell. Not a stereotypical hero series, but still a favor(house Atlantic)able series.
Marvel and DC may still be on top, but in terms of alternative content, we have more than we know what to do with.
more than 3 actors have portrayed batman
at least 3 actors have portrayed joker. More than 3 actors have portrayed superman
