This, would in fact, be evidence against the flood myth. If the flood were responsible for all fossilization, then you'd have fossils of all animals evenly strewn about the planet. However, because the fossilization process requires specific environmental factors, there are only a few select places on earth during each time period where you have fossil concentrations. This would not be the case in a global event. Therefore we can safely say that fossilization events were very isolated rather than global.
1. The special way fossils are made is my first evidence. An animal must be buried rapidly in order to form a fossil. Many animals were buried so rapidly that they were trapped while eating or giving birth.
