I have yet to see levels buildings, shelling and mortars, drone strikes or any other sign of open war. There has been civil unrest and rioting, there had been excessive police responses and there have been murders and shootings, but there is a difference of several orders of magnitude between what has happened in the US and war. Even at their most extreme, I have yet to see police fire live ammunition into crowds of protesters.
No there isn't. To say there is, is to diminish the struggle of others facing the very real experience of war. All the stats actually show crime is on the decline.
