There really is a lot of good news out there. You just need to find it. There are some sites like positivenews.org, goodnews.org, goodworldnews.org, globalgoodnews.com, dailygood.org, sunnyskyz.com etc., which share all the unknown positive news in the world. We are generally looking only for all negativity so, the media also shows only the negative news.
Media sensationalizes the worst, because it brings the ratings. We have a plethora of resources to get our news from, we are no longer limited to local news and newspapers. If you want heartwarming tales of heroism and humanity, it is out there. You have to look for it but if you wish to focus on the good, you can absolutely do so.
