No. It would concentrate their message. Suppose whites or any other people who have sympathy towards blacks might feel that ' Oh, I thought these people needed help... Looks like they have got racism in their viens..... Why to support black people now? why to support BLM? what makes them different from KKK'

This might be what they have been thinking.

Law treats everone equally. Thats what law is for. Blacks constitute 13% of the US population and it isnt only blacks that are frequent target of cops. Whites do suffer from brutal law enforcers. Iam not saying cops shooting blacks is a right thing. I just mean to say " ALL Lives Matter"

They are saying "black lives matter" because police are acting as though they do not. They are not saying "only black lives matter". They are fighting for a specific group to have equal treatment. By changing it to all lives matter, they would be diluting the message. It might get more broad support, but it no longer has the cohesion of a single message. That is always how movements happen.

Think about the fight for women to get the vote. They didn't fight for other groups, causes or ideals. They had a specific goal, and the protested and lobbied to achieve it.

Similarly, BLM wants black people to be treated the same way as other groups, as they should be by law.

Black Lives Matter says ' blacks are suffering ' thats true. But they arent the only one to suffer. Many people have been suffering since times. Poor white people, poor hispanics , natives all are suffering. It isnt just them. Maybe they could get more support and voice if they called it ' ALL Lives Matter'
