Oh.. just realised that even here all sorts of things could happen... one spy to infiltrate a nuclear bomb launching base, to launch one nuclear bomb that will ofc be stopped by american defenses and then an open war will destroy the launching country. This risky operation could be a huge weapon. Basically everything can be twisted i guess..
Here's what i belive: if someone dares to even try launching a nuclear missile, no matter where, and it succeeds or that fails (either ennemy defences blocking or simply technic fails) this will be hated by not only one country that has been attacked but by the whole earth for destroying humanity itself. I belive that leaders have really understood this and will never risk launching a nuclear bomb. But normal war is possible.. i see the army is developing other ways to fight like exosuits and combat robots or again laser beams etc etc They are looking for an alternative to nuclear bombs.
That I can agree with. Currently there is no justification for a global war.
The problem is that I am not sure Putin, Kim Jung Un or Trump really need justification. All three are dominant personalities, so if there is a situation where conflict could be avoided by one of them bending, I don't know that they would be willing to. There are a number of situations that could trigger such a "passing match." The Assad regime could become the focal point for a proxy war between US and Russia, American actions could provoke North Korea to violence, or something wholly unexpected could trigger a conflict. All it would take is one tense situation in which both leaders refuse to back down.
I don't predict it happening, but it also isn't as unlikely as I would like.
Oh, well i'll define ''soon'' as in the next five years.
And i agree that war is more likely today. But for now, no major country has any valable reason (or benefit) to begin a war since alliances will come into play and in the end, the war will be way more self-damaging than peace.
With Trump, Putin and Kim Jung Un all flexing their national muscles and he instability in the Middle East, conflict between powers is more likely now that it has been in recent years. I don't know that a world war will result, but it is more likely now than it was before Trump decided to go toe to toe with Putin and Kim Jung Un.
I wanted to say ? soon" can mean much things and it's discussable
Why would you think that a war is just around the corner? Because of Trump? North Korea? Erdogan? Isis? Putin? or why not the Illuminati?
noone is really ready but 'soon' is maybe
