I'm still trying to figure out who "they" are.
so what's the difference between sex and gender?
And yes there are special cases where people are born without either, or with both sex organs. But you cant just "Identify" as a 3rd gender.
Theres only 2 genders, if you passed 9th grade biology, you should know this lmao.
I would say that I don't object to gender, which I class as biological, but rather to restrictive stereotypes. Let girls wear trousers and play football and let boys wear pink and have a good cry.
there are people born with neither sex organs. there are people born with both. sex is not binary.
gender identity is absolutely not binary. since gender identity is entirely personal it is extremely subjective. there are alot of people who don't fall into either categories in a binary system. the existence of these people means that it is not a binary system.
Sex tells if you have female or male reproductive organs, chromosomes, etc that are given by birth. Gender tells what you identify yourself as due to them. So if your born with a male genitals your gender is Male. I'm making a argument Gender Identity and how people see it social construct. Your talking about Sex. Stop with the straw mans please.
so what is the difference between sex and gender if both are only male and female?
Sex refers to a person physiological and reproductive characteristic. I'm talking about Gender that falls into the two catorgies of Gender Identity and Gender Expression and how a some of SJWs and Trans-sexuals tend to mess it up.
transgender people have been recorded in many cultures over history. the fact that they exist at all proves definitively that gender is not binary.
the ability to remember them is not even relevant. there are almost 5000 different kinds of frogs in the world. should we just decide there are only 2 kinds of frogs so people can remember them easier?
I think your confusing gender with sex.
First, citation need.
Second, don't you think it's a lot more easier to remember 2 genders instead of 76 or more.
people have known that isn't true for centuries. just because you don't want to think of it as more complicated than that does not mean it is simple.
